Flawless execution of Records-to-Report transactional activities
Ensure period-end closing procedures and preparation of the financial reporting
Perform P/L and BS controls, Internal Controls for Financial Reporting (ICFR) and other reporting
Drive the resolution of more complex queries raised by employees, managers, finance partners & other internal and external stakeholders, auditors
Prepare and report VAT, Corporate income tax, other applicable tax, and statistical reporting
Ensure compliance with local (Lithuanian) laws and regulations
Stakeholder management – participation in the meetings, escalation and solution of issues, alignment of expectations and cooperation
Assist and train employees in team in completing their work, step in a as back up person when necessary. Act as mentor for junior team members and assist in onboarding process
Work with undefined situations and secure accurate accounting processes
Requirements
More than 3 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
A degree in Finance/Accounting
Experience working with IFRS and Lithuanian laws and regulations would be advantage
Great communication skills and proficiency in English
Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, approachable, and motivated, with a strong work ethic and high degree of integrity
A mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving, with creativity in improving ways of working
Ability to work both in a team and independently
Ability to work under time pressure, meeting deadlines
A proactive, "can-do" mindset
