About this role
Role Overview
Conduct detailed requirement gathering sessions with Product Managers and stakeholders.
Translate business initiatives into structured documentation including BRDs, SRS documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Document complex trading logic including margin calculations, leverage rules, swap logic, commission models, and instrument configurations.
Prepare flow diagrams, process maps, and system logic documentation to eliminate ambiguity.
Create and manage structured Jira tickets (EPICs, Features, Stories, Sub-tasks) with measurable acceptance criteria.
Ensure documentation is complete and approved before development sprints begin.
Define data and reporting requirements in collaboration with BI teams.
Support QA by clarifying requirements, identifying edge cases, and validating expected outcomes.
Participate in UAT and ensure functional alignment with approved specifications.
Maintain version-controlled documentation in Confluence to ensure audit readiness and regulatory traceability.
Support regulatory and compliance-related documentation requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
Contribute to improving documentation standards and analysis processes within the Product Department.
Requirements
BSc/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
2+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in fintech, brokerage, or financial services.
Strong analytical skills and ability to document complex trading logic clearly.
Experience writing SRS, BRD, and structured functional documentation.
Experience using Jira and Confluence for requirements management.
Understanding of trading mechanics (CFDs, margin, leverage) would be considered an advantage.
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
Passion for fintech, financial markets, and structured problem-solving.
