Own the business strategy for API Products in If and align it with other relevant strategies.
Collaborate with representatives in Private, Commercial and Industrial and IT to align with their strategies.
Manage the API product portfolio in collaboration with API Product Managers.
Prepare for and shape If’s position on Open Insurance and upcoming regulations.
Prepare for AI agents and participate in related strategies and product development.
Own processes, tools, and governance mechanisms for developing and managing API products.
Ensure alignment across API, IAM, AI, security, legal, and regulatory compliance.
Own the developer portal experience, including APIs, MCPs, and AI agent interfaces and related flows.
Define end‑to‑end patterns for how APIs, MCPs, and AI agents work together.
Act as business owner for developer enablement, including standards for API and AI agent consumption.
Guide and support teams producing or consuming APIs across the organization.
Drive organizational learning and adoption through training and communication.
Requirements
Experience with formal or informal leadership in an agile, user-centric and iterative environment; servant leadership and the ability to empower teams and scale ways of working.
Solid experience in Product Management, in the nexus between business and IT.
Knowledge of API Products, API Architecture and API Security.
Understanding of AI applications, AI agents and their integration with APIs.
Experience working in complex organizational and technical setups.
Ability to easily build relations and trust in stakeholder groups across business and technical functions.
Strong drive and a structured and result-oriented way of working.
Excellent communication skills and ability to drive change.
Fluent in English (written and oral). Nordic language skills are a plus.
Solid educational background, in either technology or business, higher education degree.
