About this role
Role Overview
- Collaborate and co-ordinate with multidisciplinary teams to undertake concept and detailed design of large scale HV infrastructure including; substations, BESS, solar and wind projects
- Develop and review detailed civil engineering designs, reports, technical specifications and relevant documentation
- Review and interrogate civil design models (eg Civil3D/12D)
- Conduct feasibility studies, risk analyses and site assessments
- Participate in engineering, design and construction review processes and provide technical expertise and guidance as required
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success
Requirements
- Minimum Australian recognised Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional registrations such as CPEng, NER, RPEQ or equivalent is desirable
- Proven design experience within the energy (power utility) sector (Minimum 8+ years)
- Strong understanding of civil modelling and relevant design software (e.g. Civil 3D/12D)
- Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly within a team environment, collaborating effectively with cross-discipline teams to achieve project goals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the willingness and ability to collaborate and develop team capabilities.
