Work effectively with intermediary advisors to acquire, develop and retain assets for Russell Investments
Build and maintain relationships with financial professionals within assigned territory
Strong prospecting through a highly targeted outbound sales plan to identify and convert new producers
Engage and develop relationships through in-person, phone, email, and virtual outreach
New partner onboarding, education and training activities
Consultative business and investment solutions activities which develop and further existing advisor relationships
Investment proposal generation and communication, including Morningstar and proprietary tools
Communication of Russell's capital markets knowledge and insight
Use data to efficiently target advisors that fit our target market
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in investment management, finance, business or related field
Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) licenses preferred; Series 6 and 63 will be considered
3-5 years client service and/or sales experience in an investment management or related business
In-depth understanding of the financial industry, financial concepts, product knowledge, investment management, competitive information and client-service strategies
Demonstrated consultative selling and relationship management experience
Effective oral and written communication skills as well as presentation and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and delegation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure
Ability to be self-directed, self-managed, possesses proven decision-making skills and sound judgment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, the ability to learn Russell-specific applications, and CRM experience is preferred
Asset management industry and broker dealer specific knowledge is highly desired.
