About this role
Role Overview
- Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of an IT team
- Coordinate between IT functional areas, stakeholders, and customers
- Manage project scopes and maintain deliverables within defined cost, schedule, and quality variances
- Provide resource estimates and maintain visibility on team resource availability
- Ensure the team is well-trained, high-performing, and motivated
- Manage incident tickets and their related triage
- Translate business and functional requirements to create developer ready user stories
- Facilitate user acceptance testing including the creation of user acceptance test cases
- Document, formulate, communicate/present data usage as-is and to-be processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 8+ years of IT experience
- Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications
- Proven experience in project management within IT
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and operations
- Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP), ITIL, or similar certifications (preferred)
- Experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry (preferred)
