Lead the editorial and analytical direction of our flagship annual report, the State of Subscription Apps (SOSA).
Work with our data team to produce a steady stream of data-driven content throughout the year.
Act as a source of editorial insight across the content team.
Develop data-backed story ideas, help App Growth Experts contribute their expertise to timely topics, and support the podcast team with relevant angles and context.
Contribute to cross-functional campaign and launch comms as part of a collaborative content team.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a role that requires writing and analysis, such as content marketing, journalism, or market research.
You already follow the mobile app ecosystem closely — app store policies, monetization trends, developer economics.
A journalistic mindset. You’re curious, you move with speed, you can synthesize complex information quickly, and you have a strong point of view.
Data literacy. You’re comfortable working with data, partnering with data analysts, and finding the narrative in the numbers. You don’t need to be a data scientist, but you need to be able to speak the language.
Exceptional writing and editing skills. You can write a sharp, timely analysis as well as a nuanced, data-heavy report. Your portfolio demonstrates both.
Are comfortable working with AI tools to accelerate research and drafting, while knowing where human judgment can't be replaced.
