Role Overview
- Responsible for generating business and providing general management of electrical and/or specialty systems construction projects
- Overseeing staff and ensuring Project Managers are performing tasks
- Promoting a positive Company Culture by fostering friendly and constructive employee relations
- Working with Purchasing Department and vendors for effective material coordination
- Identifying and generating new business
- Networking, establishing, and maintaining customer relationships
- Actively participating in planning, organizing, and staffing of electrical construction projects
- Ensuring projects are completed safely, productively, timely, and of the highest quality according to customer expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical training
- 1 year of electrical estimating experience or 5 years of experience in the electrical trade
- 1 year of electrical estimating experience
- Proficiency in the use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of Accubid and AutoCAD preferred
- Knowledge of the electrical construction trade is preferred
- Ability to travel 15-20%
