Role Overview
- Supports the System-wide Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI)
- Assists with various functions in Data Integrity/EMPI
- Troubleshoots data integrity issues
- Monitors assigned chart correction cases
- Utilizes internal and external resources to resolve duplicates, overlays, and other chart correction issues
- Uses logic and reasoning to identify corrective measures
- Reviews and processes inbound messages or tasks
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth and development
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- RHIA
- Registered Health Information Administrator
- American Health Information Management Association
- RHIT
- Registered Health Information Technician
- American Health Information Management Association
- Data Integrity/EMPI Data Experience of 2 years or greater
