Role Overview
- Monitoring and analysis of suspicious trading patterns
- Regulatory reporting reconciliation and checks
- Perform sanction screening checks
- Maintenance of the compliance issues register
- Respond to KYC or compliance requests
- Support compliance training for staff
- Administration of internal policies and procedures
- Management of communications surveillance system
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in compliance, trade surveillance, risk, audit, middle office, back office or regulatory advisory
- Honours Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similar Honours Degree
- Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (particularly Excel and PowerPoint)
- Professional Diploma in Compliance (LCI) or willingness to take exams (desirable)
- Knowledge of the electricity, gas or other energy commodity sectors (desirable)
- Knowledge of derivatives markets (futures and options) or financial regulations (desirable)
