About this role
Role Overview
Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, employee relations, and performance management
Anticipate risks and provide practical HR guidance
Act as the primary point of contact for employee and manager HR matters
Lead recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, and policy administration
Ensure full compliance with French labour laws
Lead all information and consultation obligations (CSE)
Manage CSE meeting governance and support collective bargaining
Ensure adherence to the French Labour Code
Manage disciplinary processes and support health, safety, and workplace well‑being obligations
Partner with brokers on total rewards and HR systems
Coordinate work permits and immigration processes
Requirements
5+ years of progressive HR experience in an HR Manager or HR Business Partner role
Master’s degree (Bac+5) with a specialization in labour law or human resources
Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)
Strong expertise in CSE governance and employee representative relations
In‑depth knowledge of French labour law and regulatory frameworks
Knowledge of the Syntec collective agreement is an asset
Experience with HRIS platforms (BambooHR preferred)
Strong business acumen
Proven negotiation skills
