About this role
Role Overview
- Develop and maintain APIs and services in Python (FastAPI) for infrastructure automation, pipelines, and FinOps processes.
- Work on developing a FinOps platform on GCP, including cloud cost collection, analysis, and visualization.
- Create and manage CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
- Integrate systems with GCP (GKE, Cloud Run, Compute Engine, Billing APIs, etc.) via APIs and SDKs.
- Develop and evolve the tool's user interface in ReactJS (optional, a plus).
- Create automations for provisioning, standardization, and governance of cloud resources (IaC, APIs, SDKs).
Requirements
- Experience with Python (FastAPI, requests, httpx, asyncio).
- Working knowledge of modern frontend frameworks (e.g., ReactJS, Next.js, etc.).
- Experience with GCP (APIs, SDKs, Service Accounts).
- Experience with CI/CD (Bitbucket Pipelines).
- Strong knowledge of Linux.
- Strong knowledge of containers (Docker) and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) (e.g., Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, etc.).
- Deep knowledge of ReactJS (for direct contribution to the UI).
- Experience with observability (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki).
- Knowledge of or interest in FinOps practices (cost management, optimization).
- Understanding of security, access control, and governance in cloud environments.
