Role Overview
- participate in early‑phase product concepting
- mechanical feasibility studies
- hands‑on prototyping
- Supporting early‑phase mechanical concept creation for new EV charging products
- Making 3D models, layouts and simple simulations (e.g. space/fit, structural feasibility)
- Participating in prototype builds and practical evaluation in the lab
- Documenting concept alternatives and preparing visual materials for concept reviews
- Assisting in mechanical requirement gathering and translating them into design inputs
Requirements
- final-year student or a recent graduate in Mechanical engineering or a related field
- Motivation to learn and courage to contribute actively
- A proactive mindset and strong collaboration skills
- Previous experience with mechanical design tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar) or hands‑on prototyping is seen as an advantage
- good English skills. Finnish is considered an advantage but not mandatory.
