About this role
Role Overview
- Investigate incidents in distributed systems, integrations and APIs;
- Analyze application and service logs;
- Perform database queries (SQL and NoSQL) for diagnosis;
- Read system code to understand flows, identify failures and unexpected behavior;
- Support root cause identification and recurrence prevention;
- Act as technical L2 support for the team;
- Read and understand existing APIs written in Node.js;
- Debug code to identify issues;
- Develop small applications, scripts and internal automations to support the team;
- Create tools that increase productivity and observability of operations;
- Monitor implementations and changes made by the engineering team;
- Have a deep understanding of product behavior;
- Translate technical changes into practical knowledge for the support team;
- Create and maintain technical and operational documentation;
- Actively contribute to the knowledge base;
- Propose improvements to processes, flows and tools;
- Raise the team’s technical level through knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Experience developing APIs;
- Practical experience with Node.js;
- Ability to read, understand and debug existing code;
- Experience troubleshooting systems and applications;
- Ability to interpret application and integration logs;
- Knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and query construction;
- Solid foundation in programming logic and system architecture;
- Experience with microservices architecture;
- Experience with observability tools (APM, logging, tracing, New Relic);
- Experience with automations (scripts, bots, workflows, integrations);
- Knowledge of containers (Docker);
- Experience in a SaaS environment;
- Practical use of AI tools in daily work (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, AI-driven automations, etc.).
