Provide support to the Regional Environmental Manager
Interact with regulatory agencies
Monitor leak detection and compliance testing of underground storage tank systems
Monitor and control spending and coordinate emergency response for environmental issues
Coordinate all inspections to be conducted
Rectify deficiencies found in inspections conducted by OWL Services through Maintenance and Sales Representative to correct, where possible, prior to filing inspection report
Report failures, as required
Ensure all investigations of inventory control variances are documented and acted upon
Ensure compliance with state-specific fuel inventory reconciliation regulations
Verify and report leak detection for fueling systems and archive results for inspection access.
Work with Sales Representatives to ensure dealer compliance with regulations
Develop statistics regarding leak detection for review with managers and operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science / environmental studies or five years of related experience in environmental petroleum compliance.
