Labor Attorney

Role Overview

• Consultancy and preparation of legal opinions on labor rights, obligations, and current legislation.
• Representation in labor lawsuits (claims and defenses) at all instances of the Labor Court.
• Participation in hearings and oral arguments.
• Representation in administrative proceedings (Ministry of Labor, Labor Public Prosecutor's Office).
• Negotiation and mediation of judicial and extrajudicial settlements.
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance with labor legislation and to prevent risks.
• Drafting employment contracts, amendments, and internal policies.
• Providing labor law training for teams and managers.

Requirements

• Law degree and active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).
• In-depth knowledge of labor legislation (CLT, súmulas, OJs, and case law).
• Experience in judicial and administrative litigation in labor law.
• Ability to draft court pleadings, legal opinions, and contracts.
• Negotiation and conflict mediation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills for courtroom appearances.
• Organization and attention to detail for managing cases and deadlines.
• Proactivity and the ability to work effectively in a team.
