About this role
Role Overview
As a Solution Architect, you are the central interface between the business, IT and external partners.
You design robust architectures, set technological direction and ensure the system landscape grows sustainably and remains future-proof.
Design and further develop cloud and SaaS architectures in alignment with the IT strategy
Define architecture principles, standards and technical guardrails
Assess functional requirements in terms of technical feasibility, integration and scalability
Produce architecture artifacts (e.g., diagrams, data flows, API designs)
Manage and provide technical guidance to external implementation partners
Analyze and evaluate new technologies and software solutions (including security, performance and long-term viability)
Evolve the existing application landscape and reduce technical debt
Contribute to topics such as architecture governance, security-by-design and automation (e.g., IaC, CI/CD, IAM)
Requirements
Several years of experience in designing and integrating cloud and/or SaaS architectures (ideally Azure)
Strong understanding of integration patterns (APIs, event-driven/eventing), data flows and authentication
Experience in roles such as Solution Architect, Technical Lead or Senior Consultant
Ability to present complex technical concepts clearly and to make well-informed decisions
Strong communication and advisory skills when interacting with diverse stakeholders
Structured, pragmatic working style with a focus on sustainable solutions
