The Director of Schneider Power and Energy Management Solutions is responsible for the profitable sales growth of Schneider Power Products, connected solutions, and sustainability.
This position leads a team of Sales Specialists providing direction and focus to their activities.
Develops, implements, and communicates Schneider products marketing plans to support sales growth and brand messaging including programs such as EcoStruxure.
Coordinates and communicates with our Solutions Center Director to develop and provide solutions to the end customer.
Works with the Director of Procurement, Regional Sales leaders, and Branch Managers to maximize Schneider incentive programs.
Promotes strong associate, customer, and vendor relationships.
Understand and provides support for the Schneider service offering.
Assists in the development of the Schneider content on our website as well as the Schneider A & C E-marketing initiative.
Reviews branch inventories for optimization.
Accompanies Outside Sales Associates to add technical expertise to the sale or presentation.
Seeks new customers and opportunities.
Executes sales efforts in a timely, ethical and professional manner, assuring a favorable impression of self and the company; includes the maintenance of a clean and uncluttered vehicle.
Works with Quotation Managers to increase hit rates for project business.
Engineers design and build projects.
Coordinates and assists with Schneider projects and provides guidance on special projects, including the review of prints and assembling material lists.
Educates staff on Square D E-Way (electronic commerce) system in order to enhance system utilization.
Provides product, E-commerce, and solutions training to associates.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a closely related field; or an Associate’s degree in closely related field; or equivalent academic training from a technical school with 2 or more years of sales experience; or equivalent on-the-job experience as determined by Echo Electric.
Possess a valid driver’s license & good driving history.
