Role Overview
Oversee contract pharmacy and other covered entity (CE) eligibility requests, exception management, and compliance operations.
Ensure CE membership compliance with internal and external state and federal 340B requirements and BMS polices through coordination with Legal, Compliance, US Policy and external vendors.
Review and validate contract pharmacy designations, supporting documentation, and special exception requests in accordance with internal and external 340B program guidelines and BMS policies.
Manage the approval process for contract pharmacy exceptions, coordinating with Legal, Compliance, and US Policy teams to ensure compliance with HRSA requirements.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation of contract pharmacy membership requests, supporting documents, and decisions.
Partner with the Senior Director, 340B Business Optimization & Analytics Lead to align contract pharmacy eligibility processes with enterprise 340B standards and operational controls.
Identify and escalate potential risks or discrepancies related to contract pharmacy eligibility or documentation.
Collaborate with the 340B Senior Director, Business Optimization & Analytics Lead to provide accurate reporting on contract pharmacy eligibility exception requests, approvals, and denials for inclusion in 340B COE dashboards and leadership reporting.
Serve as a key contact for internal stakeholders regarding contract pharmacy status, eligibility requirements, and exception processes.
Support covered entity registration with external vendors (e.g., BRG) as needed.
Identify opportunities to streamline covered entity eligibility requests and reporting while maintaining accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Pharmacy, or related field)
5-7 years of experience in pharmaceutical operations, contract management, or compliance
Knowledge of federal and state 340B program rules (covered entity eligibility, contract pharmacy arrangements and documentation, regulatory requirements)
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and manage operational workflows in a matrixed and highly regulated environment
Prior experience managing 340B covered entity eligibility for a pharmaceutical manufacturer
Experience with data tracking, dashboards, KPIs and system/vendor platforms supporting contract pharmacy or 340B operations
