Role Overview
Leadership of the Accounting department (10 headcount)
Technical and disciplinary management of the accounting team (general ledger and sub-ledger)
Define and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Preparation and support in the harmonization and further development of monthly and quarterly financial statements under HGB and IFRS, including balance sheet, P&L and cash flow statement
Responsibility for the timely preparation of annual financial statements under HGB and IFRS
Close collaboration with other departments
Further development and optimization of relevant accounting systems and processes
Point of contact for auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration / Finance or comparable qualification, including further training with a focus on accounting
Solid competence in preparing financial statements under HGB and IFRS and several years of professional accounting experience
Experience in leading and developing employees
Good command of English (minimum B2), spoken and written
Interest and/or experience in process optimization and change management
High level of responsibility, strong conceptual skills and service orientation
Ideally: knowledge of SAP R/3 and/or SAP S/4HANA
