Lead Projects: Take charge of small to medium-sized projects, ensuring successful delivery to meet client expectations and business objectives.
Provide mechanical engineering expertise in an industrial environment including detailed mechanical and piping design, development of technical specifications and drawing management.
Being part of a team that delivers multi-discipline projects – and developing the confidence to lead and own future projects.
Stepping into a client-facing role and growing into a project engineer, project manager or commissioning manager.
Travel to client and project sites across NZ, building hands-on experience with industrial mechanical plant, machinery, and automation and control systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Washington Accord).
Proven experience in a similar role with 4+ years’ experience.
Experience or exposure in project management, and an interest in developing these skills further.
Solid technical knowledge with hygienic and pressure piping system design, surge analysis, pipe stress and hydraulic analysis.
Familiarity with PECPR requirements, AS/NZS 1170, ASME B31 suite of codes or equivalent standards.
Exposure to (or a willingness to learn) piping industry software such as AutoPIPE, PIPE-FLO, or similar.
Willingness to travel to site.
