Own SEO strategy and execution for a portfolio of home-services clients (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, remodeling, junk removal, painting, cleaning, etc.)
Build and maintain SEO roadmaps covering technical SEO, local visibility, content, GBP optimization, and link acquisition
Lead scalable SEO processes, templates, QA checks, and reporting standards across accounts
Track performance using GA4, GSC, and SEO tools with a focus on leads, calls, and local visibility
Collaborate with paid media and LSA teams to align messaging and growth priorities
Requirements
3–5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with direct, proven experience in home-services or service-based industries
Demonstrated success improving local SEO and Google Business Profile rankings for service-area businesses
Experience competing in highly competitive local markets (map pack + organic results)
Strong familiarity with multi-location and franchise-style SEO structures
Solid technical SEO foundation (audits, indexation, internal linking, CWV awareness, basic schema)
Strong proficiency with WordPress, including on-page optimization and common technical fixes
Ability to produce clear SEO documentation, briefs, roadmaps, and performance reporting
Excellent organization and time management across multiple active client campaigns
Prior professional remote work experience
Fluency with remote collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana or similar)
Candidates without clear remote experience will not be considered
