You perform threat and risk analyses (TARA — Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment), derive security objectives and reduce security risks by selecting appropriate security measures.
You develop and review security concepts and architectures for control units (ECUs), applications and systems, always keeping the overall vehicle cyber security in view.
You support developers of control units, systems and applications specifically in the field of vehicle cyber security and coordinate the implementation and validation of security solutions with suppliers.
You define, organize and oversee penetration tests at function, ECU and vehicle level.
You support vehicle cyber security reviews regarding the appropriate implementation of security scopes and compliance with requirements.
You prepare vehicle cyber security specifications and documentation in accordance with ISO/SAE 21434.
You contribute to security certifications, assessments and audits.
You collaborate with international partners in development and testing and expand professional networks.
You look beyond your immediate responsibilities, independently advance your topics, adapt them to changing conditions and represent them in group-wide projects.
Requirements
You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
You have several years of professional experience in the electrical/electronics domain for automotive applications, preferably in development and testing of control unit software.
You have experience in vehicle cyber security and are familiar with cyber security standards (e.g. ISO 27000, ISO/SAE 21434, etc.) and process-compliant development of automotive software.
You possess excellent analytical and structuring skills, think strategically and are confident in methodical approaches.
You have strong communication and teamwork skills, combined with persuasiveness and assertiveness when dealing with internal and external partners.
You have experience with agile working methods such as Scrum or SAFe.
You demonstrate a high degree of initiative, commitment and sense of responsibility.
Your German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are at a business-fluent level.
