About this role
Role Overview
Monitor and optimize the end-to-end flow of maritime and port operations;
Plan, control and oversee supply operations and vessel scheduling;
Manage and control demurrage processes;
Build and maintain relationships with port authorities and logistics partners;
Analyze operational data, preparing management reports and performance dashboards;
Identify improvement opportunities, drive operational efficiency, and support trading sales;
Act proactively and reactively to mitigate risks and operational deviations;
Support the coordinator in managing operations, assuming responsibilities in their absence;
Serve as a technical reference and propose continuous process improvements.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields;
Proven experience in maritime logistics operations and/or coastal shipping (cabotage);
Experience in commodity trading (preferred: energy, fuels, or chemicals);
Experience managing demurrage, vessel scheduling (line-up), and maritime transportation contracts;
Experience in operational/logistics back-office functions;
Advanced Excel (mandatory) and experience with SAP;
Availability to travel;
English (preferred);
Analytical, proactive profile with strong execution capability, prioritization skills, and systems thinking;
Strong communication and influence skills; ability to perform under pressure; sense of ownership and teamwork.
