Support customer engagements, from booking to delivery, demonstrating operational excellence resulting in delighted customers.
Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
Monitor and control project costs & schedules to ensure projects are delivered per budgetary constraints and on-time.
Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, are free from errors, and delivered in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
Lead cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact.
Collaborate with Legal and Sales to review & revise contract terms and support customer negotiations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management, energy, or related field.
PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), PgMP (Program Management Professional), or PMI-ACP certification(s).
7+ years’ experience working as a project or operations manager in the solar or renewable energy industry, heavy construction, or aerospace industry.
Excellent time management and ability to execute multiple projects across multiple customer relationships simultaneously.
Strong communication, customer relationship skills, and ability to communicate effectively and interact within a team environment.
Advanced or expert skill level in MS Suite of software (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience working with project management tools and platforms such Cora, Wrike, Katana, Project Insight, Primavera P6, JIRA and other Atlassian tools such as Confluence.
Experience leading a small team and working with remotely distributed contractors.
Willing to work in Hybrid (Home/Office) setup and work with minimal supervision.
Travel up to 40% of the time, primarily US-based project sites
