Oversee and guide civil litigation in coordination with external law firms
Draft and review legal opinions, focusing on risk mitigation
Handle official notices and court summons, coordinating workflows with internal departments and partner firms
Develop and support legal theories and defense strategies
Consumer matters (Procon and consumer claims)
Manage and monitor consumer-related claims
Develop strategies to reduce complaints and improve performance indicators
Corporate Criminal Practice
Provide support in criminal litigation
Review pleadings and strategies with third-party firms
Participate in internal investigations and audits to prevent fraud and irregularities
Interact with police and judicial authorities when necessary
Management and Relationship with Law Firms
Manage external law firms, ensuring quality and strategic alignment
Develop and monitor performance KPIs
Controls, Metrics, and Budget
Prepare management reports, provisions, and contingent liabilities
Perform critical analysis of legal and financial data
Monitor and control the department budget
Auditing
Support and follow up on internal and external audits
Legal Innovation and Efficiency
Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements
Support the implementation of technology solutions and the use of AI in the legal department.

Law degree with active OAB (Brazilian Bar Association) registration
Minimum of 3 years' experience in civil litigation and/or corporate criminal litigation
Strong knowledge of Civil Law and Civil Procedure
Consumer Law
Criminal Law/Criminal Procedure
Experience with litigation management systems
Experience managing external law firms
Specialization in Civil Law, Civil Procedure, or Consumer Law (preferred)
Experience in corporate criminal law (preferred)
Regulatory knowledge (e.g., BACEN) or experience in financial institutions (preferred)
Experience in related areas (tax or labor) (preferred).
