Support terminal operations through accurate payroll processing, accounts payable, and invoice management, ensuring compliance with internal controls and approval processes.
Maintain daily grain accounting, inventory reporting, and data reconciliation for rail, barge, and truck movements to ensure accurate operational and financial records.
Coordinate rail documentation, billing, and logistics activities, including tracking railcars, and resolving discrepancies with rail partners and internal teams.
Partner closely with operations, accounting, inventory, vendors, and rail partners to investigate issues, correct data variances, and maintain timely reporting.
Prepare and distribute daily, monthly, and ad hoc reports to support operational visibility and decision-making.
Provide general administrative and operational support, including record management and participation in special projects as needed.
Requirements
2+ years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting
High School diploma or GED
Proficient in MS Office suite
Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping and interacting with internal and external customers
Abilty to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business needs
Associate's degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Business, Business Administration, or related field
Previous experience with Agris accounting software preferred
Farming background or agriculture experience preferred
