Conduct daily site inspections to ensure contractors adhere to EMMP requirements.
Perform bi-weekly audits of environmental compliance at construction sites.
Oversee the monthly monitoring of fauna, flora, arboriculture, water quality, air quality, noise, and vibration by the Contractors.
Manage the implementation of the Information Management System (IMS) and monitor real-time data from ECM and noise meters.
Utilise dedicated apps to flag non-compliance issues and monitor rectification by contractors within a defined timeframe.
Liaise and coordinate with contractors, EMMP Consultants, and specialists to ensure effective implementation of EMMP measures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the company regarding environmental compliance matters.
Compile and analyse environmental monitoring data from contractors to prepare monthly Environmental Performance Reports (EPR).
Conduct regular biodiversity awareness training for construction site personnel.
Develop comprehensive method statements and risk assessments for environmental monitoring activities.
Collaborate with EMMP team members to execute projects effectively and efficiently.
Support in other projects as needed.
Requirements
Candidates MUST be a NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) or currently in the process of obtaining this certification.
Physically fit and able to work long hours at construction sites.
A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is preferred, but fresh graduates are welcome to apply as relevant training will be provided.
A Diploma or Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental & Water Technology, Environmental Science, Environmental Biology, or other related qualifications will be considered.
