Role Overview
Lead end-to-end product design across complex journeys and systems, delivering high-quality, accessible, and performant experiences.
Independently plan, conduct, and synthesise user research using appropriate generative and evaluative methods.
Translate research insights into clear, scalable artefacts that inform design decisions and enable shared learning.
Use mapping, prototyping, and facilitation to explore ambiguity, connect user needs to business goals, and guide teams through discovery.
Visualise end-to-end journeys and service experiences, considering offline touchpoints, accessibility, and system constraints.
Apply strong judgment in balancing user value, business priorities, and technical feasibility.
Contribute as a subject matter expert, providing thoughtful critique and guidance across disciplines.
Requirements
Extensive experience (typically 4+ years or equivalent) in product design, user experience, or related disciplines.
Deep fluency in human-centred design and user research methods, with the ability to choose and adapt approaches based on context.
Proven ability to independently own complex problem spaces and deliver impactful, well-reasoned solutions.
Strong facilitation, communication, and storytelling skills, with experience aligning diverse stakeholders.
Confidence working cross-functionally and influencing outcomes without direct authority.
A creative, systems-oriented problem-solver who considers risks, trade-offs, and multiple perspectives.
Experience mentoring others and contributing to team health and design maturity.
Comfort operating in changing environments and a willingness to continuously learn and evolve.
