About this role
Role Overview
Deliver compelling presentations virtually and in person that showcase the value proposition of Google Workspace for Education and their paid offerings such as Standard, T&L, Plus and Gemini.
Traveling within North America to deliver in-person training and presentations at customer locations, partner locations and conferences.
Design and develop content and presentations to promote ChromeOS and Google Workspace in Education solutions.
Create compelling value propositions and use cases tailored to the specific needs of different educational stakeholders (e.g., schools, teachers, students).
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in the education sector, including school administrators, curriculum directors, technology leaders and policymakers.
Stay up-to-date on Google Workspace for Education changes and the latest trends and innovations in the education technology landscape especially AI,security and learning tools.
Maintaining and updating relevant certifications.
Submit conference sessions and speak at Education industry conferences such as ISTE, Educause etc.
Reporting and tracking key team metrics that contribute to the success of team goals.
Provide technical expertise for customers to support pre-sales processes.
Address all product-related queries in a timely and efficient manner.
Outline and explain CDW Education services to customers and convey value propositions.
Identify customer training opportunities, communication, hosting and logistics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree with 5 years IT experience as a Technology Director, Technology Coordinator, or similar role and 5 year’s experience in K12 school districts, specifically in IT departments managing Google for Education OR 9 years IT experience as a Technology Director, Technology Coordinator, or similar role and 5 year’s experience in K12 school districts, specifically in IT departments managing Google for Education.
Familiarity with other typical K12 IT systems such as Active Directory, Inventory management, Exchange, Student Information Systems, Learning Management Systems.
Passion for education and a strong belief in the transformative power of technology.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Experience in business development or educational sales, with a proven track record of exceeding targets, a plus.
Knowledge of large language models or other AI applications in education, a plus.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales methodologies, a plus.
Proven track record of success in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, a plus.
