Administers, monitors, and maintains voice and data infrastructure.
Ensures availability, performance, and security through high-level support, complex troubleshooting, and specialized knowledge.
Configuring network hardware and software, performing network audits, providing technical guidance to junior staff, and collaborating on network planning.
Plan, implement, and upgrade complex network architectures.
Continuously monitor network performance and proactively optimize resources.
Provide high-level, expert support for complex network issues, drives resolution to network connectivity, hardware failures, and telephone matters.
Coordinate with vendors for installations and maintenance activities, manage contracts, and contribute to project proposal for network connectivity and upgrades.
Research, test, and implement business continuity plans.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, computer engineering, management information system or network administration from an accredited university.
At least five (5) years of progressive experience in an information technology and/or computing environment with at least three (3) years of direct experience as a network administrator installing, monitoring, and/or maintaining complex voice and data networks in a medium to large scale organization.
