Responsibility for daily accounting for the German location (Düsseldorf)
Ensure month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code) in coordination with internal partners and external service providers
Prepare budgets, forecasts and regular financial and management reports for internal and external stakeholders
Monitor, analyze and optimize accounting processes in line with group policies and compliance requirements
Manage cash management and actively ensure stable liquidity planning
Serve as the central point of contact for auditors, tax advisors and international finance teams
Support the implementation, further development and use of accounting systems (e.g., YOOZ, SAGE X3)
Work closely with Controlling to support corporate planning, performance analyses and data-driven decision-making
Contribute to cross-functional projects and the continuous optimization of financial processes and structures
Requirements
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in accounting or bookkeeping, ideally in an international, dynamic environment
Solid knowledge of HGB accounting as well as reporting and planning processes
Experience with YOOZ and/or SAGE X3 is a plus
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify business interdependencies across functions
Structured, detail-oriented and pragmatic working style
Confident communication in German and English (C1 level)
