About this role
Role Overview
- Promote and enforce best practices across all aspects of testing, including manual and automated testing
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate quality early in the SDLC
- Define, maintain, and ensure alignment of the test strategy with business objectives and technical requirements
- Play an active role in testing activities during sprint execution and release cycles
- Ensure appropriate test coverage and quality gates are in place throughout development and deployment
- Produce and maintain required test artifacts for releases
- Identify, communicate, and escalate risks when quality may be compromised
- Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and metrics
- Support and guide teams in adopting effective automation strategies
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to QE and testing team members
Requirements
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering principles
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to embed quality early in the SDLC
- Ability to define and execute a comprehensive test strategy aligned with business and technical needs
- Experience participating in Agile/Scrum sprint and release cycles
- Demonstrated ability to identify, raise, and manage quality risks effectively
- Database experience with SQL for test validation and data analysis
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence without authority
- Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
