Independent accounting for all entities using DATEV Kanzlei-Rechnungswesen and ensuring compliance
Monitor all accounting processes and implement controls when business processes change
Posting of complex transactions
Reviews in preparation for the annual financial statements
Support in implementing complex accounting and balance sheet issues
Responsibility for consolidated VAT advance returns and ZM (intra‑Community sales listing) submissions
Preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and support for annual financial statements (HGB)
Analysis of cost and performance structures; identification of financial interrelationships
Process and interface responsibility with adjacent departments (controlling, fleet management, operations managers)
Participation in digitalization projects and optimization of accounting processes
Requirements
Completed training as a tax clerk (Steuerfachangestellte), financial accountant, or comparable qualification with solid professional experience in accounting
Very good knowledge of DATEV (desirable: DATEV Unternehmen online, CANDIS)
Strong understanding of business and financial contexts; ideally experience in the transportation or logistics industry
Analytical mindset, strong affinity for numbers and ability to understand complex structures
Independent, structured working style with a willingness to question and improve processes
Team player with strong communication skills and a sense of responsibility
