Independently manage the day-to-day administration of benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k), ensuring data integrity across all systems.
Support a culture of performance by ensuring that benefits information is clear and accessible, helping employees understand the full value of their total rewards.
Assist in the execution of workforce priorities by providing data and insights that help the People team plan for future team size and structure.
Resolve routine benefit issues for employees with empathy and urgency, elevating the consumer experience for our own team members.
Support the Benefits Manager in analyzing program usage and costs; contribute to the preparation of materials for annual renewals and open enrollment.
Partner cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliance and accurate reporting for all benefit-related activities.
Act as a point of contact for external benefit vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery and resolve administrative discrepancies.
Requirements
2+ years of professional experience in HR or Benefits administration.
Solid understanding of benefits principles and practices; familiar with COBRA, ERISA, and HIPAA.
Ability to solve moderately varied problems and apply learned techniques to resolve issues independently.
Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and experience working within an HRIS (e.g., Paylocity, Workday).
Ability to explain complex benefit information clearly and concisely to employees at all levels.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
