Develop clear, compelling white papers aligned to government Broad Agency Announcements (BAAs), Commercial Solutions Openings (CSOs), SBIRs, and other innovation-driven solicitations.
Translate complex technical concepts into structured, persuasive narratives for government and technical audiences.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, solution architects, and business leads to shape technical approaches and use cases.
Independently manage multiple white papers and technical documents simultaneously, ensuring quality and adherence to timelines.
Conduct light research to support problem framing, mission alignment, and technical credibility.
Structure documents to align with solicitation intent (e.g., problem statement, technical approach, outcomes, innovation) without engaging in full proposal development or compliance matrices.
Refine and edit existing technical content for clarity, consistency, and impact.
Requirements
Proven experience writing white papers and technical documents for U.S. government audiences (DoD, federal civilian, or related sectors).
Demonstrated ability to support multiple concurrent writing efforts in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of government innovation pathways (e.g., BAA, OTA, SBIR, CSO).
Ability to quickly grasp and articulate technical solutions across domains (e.g., IT, data, AI/ML, logistics, healthcare, etc.).
Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
Prior experience supporting non-traditional contracting efforts or innovation-focused pursuits.
Familiarity with defense or federal agency mission areas.
Background working with small businesses, technology firms, or emerging solutions
