Requirements
A subject matter expert in Economic Crime, with strong technical knowledge across areas such as AML, sanctions and fraud, gained within financial services, audit, or a related risk or compliance environment.
A trusted and experienced assurance practitioner who delivers high quality risk and control insights that shape decision making, influence senior colleagues, and enhance confidence in the control environment through credible, clear and impactful communication.
A digitally fluent audit professional with strong capability in data analytics and audit technology, demonstrating active curiosity about AI and emerging tools, and leading the practical application of these capabilities to drive smarter, more efficient and value adding assurance outcomes.
A strategic and commercially aware thinker who interprets Group and Business Unit strategy, connecting audit delivery, thematic insights and business monitoring to enterprise wide risks, opportunities and long term organisational objectives.
A strong communicator who exercises sound judgement to interpret complex data, distil root causes and implications, and deliver clear, outcomes focused audit conclusions that resonate with senior leaders and drive meaningful action.

Any experience of these would be really useful: ACAMS or ICA Financial Crime qualification or equivalent; Practical experience of managing or auditing Economic Crime risk, including AML, sanctions, fraud or ABC, within financial services; Internal audit knowledge and experience.
