IT environment: Modern infrastructure with multiple VM clusters (over 230 VMs, Windows/Linux) connected to a SAN infrastructure
Planning, provisioning, operation, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, IT services, and systems
Ensuring smooth operation of the IT infrastructure and services
Ensuring IT security
Evaluating, configuring, and implementing system extensions to meet new requirements
Organizing IT procurement as well as supplier and resource management
Requirements
Good degree in an IT-related field or equivalent vocational training
Professional experience in system/network administration
Technical knowledge in the following areas: Windows or Linux servers (Ubuntu), web services (Apache, IIS), mail services (MS Exchange, Postfix), IP in LAN and WAN, DHCP & DNS, network & system management (Nagios, SNMP), experience with virtualization (VMware)
