Materials Development Engineer, Printing

Role Overview

• Interface with suppliers to identify and qualify new materials (INKS) integrated into payment cards
• Design and qualify new products, structures and processes according to customer specifications and QCD standards (Quality, Cost, Delivery)
• Oversee and approve pilot production batches (RFPP), industrial production batches (RFPI), and mass production (FRVM)
• Oversee and approve production transfers between different manufacturing sites
• Provide support to production sites, resolve technical issues, handle customer complaints and drive process improvements

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience required
• Degree in Printing Engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of smart card technologies or printing methods is a plus
• Familiarity with compliance standards (HSE, REACH, RoHS) is desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Strong professional proficiency in English
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail
