Define and lead the vision and strategy for telemetry systems during live game production to enable advanced analysis of player behavior and foster innovation;
Anticipate high-level analytical challenges faced by development teams and design innovative, scalable solutions that guide strategic decision-making;
Prototype advanced analytical deliverables and establish best practices for dashboards, reports, and data storytelling, influencing how insights are shared and used across the company;
Promote a data-driven culture across the studio by sharing player knowledge through compelling storytelling and clear, well-documented analyses;
Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders, aligning perspectives and fostering collaboration around strategic initiatives;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex, high-impact problems, finding the right balance between experimentation, analytical rigor, speed, accuracy, and quality.
Requirements
Minimum of 12 years of experience in data analysis, including proven experience in the video game industry on a GaaS (Game as a Service) title, with deep expertise in advanced analytics and statistical modeling or equivalent approaches;
Excellent data manipulation skills, including complex processing of large datasets using SQL and NoSQL;
Strong programming experience with Python and/or R for analysis, modeling, and advanced reporting;
Excellent data visualization skills, including building complex dashboards and reports with Power BI (a plus), Tableau, Excel, and other visualization tools;
Experience with data hosting and transformation tools such as Snowflake and DBT, with AWS considered an asset;
High level of autonomy, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication abilities, with the capacity to clearly convey complex analytical insights; equivalent experience may be considered.
