Design and maintain the enterprise-wide IT architecture, ensuring all new business applications integrate seamlessly into our existing stack.
Manage relationships with external MSPs and software vendors, ensuring high service levels and cost-efficiency.
Lead the end-to-end implementation of core solutions (e.g., Veeva QualityDocs, QMS, RIM, LIMS, eTMF, Serialization, etc.), focusing on data flow, scalability, and long-term maintainability.
Act as the technical authority for GxP/CSV (Computer System Validation). Ensure that every architectural decision adheres to 21 CFR Part 11 and ALCOA+ data integrity principles.
Serve as a bridge between scientific stakeholders and external vendors, translating complex business needs into technical specifications and vice versa.
Design advanced security frameworks to protect intellectual property and ensure business continuity across all systems.
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a similar field; an MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.
Proven track record of managing larger implementation projects as well as managing multiple MSPs/vendors.
Proven track record in designing and implementing complex, distributed systems rather than just administering them.
Deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in Life Sciences (GCP/GLP/GMP, FDA/EMA regulations) and corresponding reference architectures.
Wide-ranging expertise in SaaS integrations (e.g. Veeva Vault), Azure, database design (SQL/NoSQL), API management, and cloud infrastructure.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead through influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
Fluent English required, German preferred.
