Lead Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

• Supervision and technical direction over a team of engineers and designers
• Review and approve all electrical deliverables
• Validate service and construction estimates
• Establish design criteria incorporating client requirements
• Maintain control of project budget, schedule, and quality standards
• Delegate work to engineers and designers based on skills
• Produce construction specifications and check calculations made by other engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred
• 15 or more years of relevant industrial experience in electrical engineering
• Knowledge and application of the current version of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Ability to perform voltage drop calculations
• Ability to perform and review electrical system studies using ETAP/SKM/EasyPower software
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
