Senior Designer

Role Overview

• Provide detailed electrical design support in the following areas: technical review and support of developing engineering deliverables
• Assistance with issue resolution related to design, documentation, or system coordination
• Support for cross-discipline coordination to ensure alignment of technical information
• Participation in project meetings or reviews to provide subject matter input
• Review and feedback on drawings, calculations, equipment information, or technical documentation

Requirements

• Associate degree in Engineering Technology or Computer-Aided Drafting is required
• 15 or more years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design
• Ability to apply detailed knowledge of electrical design principles & requirements
• 7+ years of experience with new construction or industrial facilities
• 10+ years with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and CAD Overlay experience
• Capable of preparing single-line, elementary, equipment layouts, cable tray layout, and wiring diagrams with little oversight
• Work with a team and independently to create 3D models
• Proficient in problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal/communications skills
