About this role
Role Overview
Provide support for international tax compliance, provision, audit requests and special projects
Analyze company financial data, preparation of book-to-tax adjustments and completion of annual US tax filings for foreign affiliates
Develop proficiency in the international portion of Corptax software and in managing/acquiring data in software systems
Develop and maintain Corporate and SBU contacts and work with outside consultants
Manage voluminous information gathering, including helping update, distribute and coordinate receipt of foreign subsidiary tax packages and foreign tax returns
Update and communicate with the team on various foreign exchange rates
Help prepare quarterly provision workpapers such as interest and royalty estimates
Help analyze intercompany transactions, cash repatriation, and foreign tax payments
Be proactive in process and technology updates and improvements
Preparation of responses to IRS queries
Maintain current knowledge of the tax laws in assigned areas
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
1+ years of corporate income tax experience (internal PPG financial accounting experience will be considered as a substitute)
PC and Microsoft applications (Word and Excel) skills are encouraged
Corptax, Hyperion, Oracle, SAP, and Alteryx experience a plus
