About this role
Role Overview
You will be a key member of our DBA team at Cambio, working closely with four experienced colleagues responsible for operating and maintaining our medical records system — a business-critical service delivered to healthcare customers.
In this position, you will play a central role in operating large scale database platforms within a 24/7 healthcare environment, where performance, stability, and high availability are essential.
You will work hands-on with mission critical areas such as clustering, performance optimization, capacity planning, availability, administration, and the management of both internal and external environments.
If you are interested, there may also be an opportunity to take on team‑lead responsibilities over time, acting as a point of contact for collaboration and communication within the team and towards key stakeholders.
Requirements
At least five years of experience in database operations and maintenance, mainly with Microsoft SQL Server
Experience with SQL Server Always On and high availability solutions
Proven experience in database performance optimization and tuning
Experience with scripting, automation, and monitoring
Strong proficiency in Swedish and English is required, both spoken and written.

Have experience with other database platforms
Have experience with e-health system databases
Have experience with database encryption and security
Have experience as a team lead, being the main interface for interactions/collaboration
Have worked in Linux environments
Have knowledge of DevOps principles
