Complete month end activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and processing journal entries
Preparation of P&L and balance sheet variance analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to management
Preparation of statutory financial statements, reports and accounting workpapers
Proactively identify and resolve financial risks including transactional, reporting and account reconciliation issues, and implement improvements to our internal processes and workpapers
Implement and undertake accounting functions and projects as required
Working collaboratively with the team to meet deadlines and continually improve our processes
Requirements
Strong technical accounting skills
Experience in a similar role ideally within a professional services firm
A Bachelor of Business/ Accounting (or other relevant tertiary qualifications)
CA/CPA Qualified
Experience with Caseware/Accurri (preferred) and Workday (preferred but not essential)
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with Power Query experience
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
