Estimating Projects; Building estimates in collaboration with key field personnel.
Populating client returnable as required Maintaining estimating deadlines
Mobilising Projects; Conduct Tender Handover meeting; Review Contract Documents; Develop the Project Management Plan including the project control metrics for monitoring safety, time, cost and quality progress; Establish project team and organise activities prior to project commencement.
Leadership of the Project team ensuring cohesion and collaboration; Delivery of the project in a way that prevents harm.
Client liaison and reporting; Closeout of Projects; Achievement of timely project completion; Submission of all documents required at completion such as as-builts, manuals etc; Attainment of client acknowledgement of Practical Completion; Return of security at Practical Completion.
Requirements
Graduate level through to 5 years’ experience within the Civil Constructions industry
Previous experience within the relevant and local utilities environment (advantageous)
Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent (advantageous)
Ability to work with Mathematical concepts.
Ability to lead and manage teams
Ability to deal diligently, patiently and professionally with internal stakeholders, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
Self-starter, able to determine own priorities and manage work accordingly
Analytical with ability to identify and suggest areas for process improvement and drive efficiency
