Responsible for prospecting, soliciting, developing and maintaining business relationships with a client base made up primarily of medium-sized organizations
Business development and visibility
Act as an account lead, serving as the primary point of contact between the Company and clients
Establish and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs to discuss specifics of their businesses
Diagnose issues, provide advice and, where appropriate, prepare a suitable IQ service proposal
Be responsible for a portfolio of financial interventions and its profitability
Ensure growth and retention of existing clients within the portfolio
Acquire new clients and build a pipeline of business opportunities
Be active in the business community
Identify the most promising projects and encourage companies or partners to use the Company’s services
Ensure sound risk management for the entire portfolio under your responsibility
Analyze sources of dissatisfaction and recommend solutions
Stay up to date on changes to policies, procedures and detailed processes
Recommend strategies or solutions aimed at achieving the Company’s objectives
Monitor and identify business development opportunities to support the competitiveness of IQ’s products and services
Organize various promotional activities related to the Company’s initiatives
Act as an expert for account managers on financing strategies
Support account managers in meetings or negotiations when case complexity requires it
Maintain business relationships with portfolio clients and carry out collection of amounts owed
Requirements
Hold a bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, accounting or another relevant discipline
Minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience as a corporate finance professional
Knowledge of financial analysis techniques, security interests (collateral) and common financing standards
Fluent in French (spoken and written)
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is an asset
