Role Overview
- Monitor and protect logging equipment and assets during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular mobile and foot patrols across the site
- Observe and report suspicious activity, trespassing, or safety concerns
- Maintain a visible presence to deter theft and vandalism
- Complete detailed daily and incident reports
- Communicate with supervisors and emergency services as needed
- Ensure the site remains secure at all times
Requirements
- Valid BC Security Licence (Required)
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence with clean driver’s abstract (Required)
- Comfortable with extended travel to and from site (travel time paid)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Must be eligible to work in Canada
Nice to Have
- OFA Level 1 (or higher) certification
- Previous experience in asset protection, industrial, or remote site environments
