Maintain and update supplier reports, information and records.
Support the team by arranging meetings, events, and other departmental activities.
Key point of contact for New Supplier and Factory Onboarding Process (Buyers, Technical, Logistics, Finance as well as Suppliers)
Prepare documents using a variety of computer applications such as Microsoft Office. Also responsible for gathering, collating and summarising data for departmental reports.
Data analysis to support the specific project and programme deliverables. (e.g. reading and grading ethical audit reports)
Gather and review transparency data communicating directly with suppliers, factories and other relevant stakeholders.
Support the Sustainability team in the delivery of projects and programmes.
Interaction with key internal and external stakeholders
Communicate both internally and externally on current sustainability issues.
Build strong relationships with River Island internal stakeholders such as Buying, and Technical, Shipping, Accounts, Finance and in-country partners; as well as external stakeholders, such as other sustainability groups and our suppliers.
Working with the sustainability team to ensure that key data is always maintained and is up to date.
Requirements
High School / FE College (2 A Levels).
Computer literate using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook & other IT Systems to a high level.
Basic experience of simple office environment / basic operational systems (4 to 6 months) preferred.
Qualification in an environmental or sustainable field would be an advantage.
